Ash is so real for the "If I can't see it, it doesn't exist" thing.
  • @AlAl-bk5ei
Even if Feng Shui is only a style gimmick, this video already gave me motivation to clean my room
  • @meganfarmer1957
As someone who also as ADHD, it was hilarious how concerned Matt was over Ash’s object permanence issues. Unfortunately, it’s just part of the condition 😅
  • @ObviouslyASMR
I love how even after the decluttering Matt is STILL leaving his socks on the desks at 19:38, Steph really wasn't exaggerating
  • @jrbohan2
Assuming she has a wireless charging phone, Mattpat should analyze where steph puts down her phone the most. Then you can install hidden qi chargers. Bonus points if she doesn't know. Then she is just confused about why her phone never dies.

"Yes, right now I feel so much more inspired and motivated to put stuff away, but when stuff is away, I. forget. it. exists." Ash, being the neurodivergent icon we all needed.
  • @HG-yb2co
Amy's burrito of shame is underappreciated.
  • @bathilra5364
Seeing mat and steph switching between just chatting and calling each other out is hilarious
  • @EvenirX
Ash's struggle with forgetting about things existing is an adhd MOOD. I literally forget about the food in my own fridge.

As someone who also has ADHD, changing your space is immensely helpful, but they're things that Feng Shui actively dissuades. For me taking cabinet doors off and leaving them open, using clear drawers, and keeping mid-process projects out in the open have all helped me navigate my environment and finish the projects I start
  • @Amit_meena19
I love the style theory not because of content but more because each episode we get to get Matpat house tour little by little.
  • @pekkatank4386
I need more team voice overs. Amy ranting about budgeting after matt talks about money trees feel like the team is talking to each other, and thats so funny. (Also fung slay me and the repression rug 🤣😂🤣😂) Edit: 400 likes no way... Thanks guys!
  • @Gerglingson
so glad Ash was in this episode, I feel like this wouldn't have been so scientific without a second sample (and I love Ash lol)
  • @teamboobooseth1
I wasn’t expecting Ash at the beginning but I love seeing Ash!

As a professional interior designer, I'm so excited to see these principle discussed. That's exactly what Feng Shui is, it's not a huge fix, it's subtle in the help it provides. I'm so passionate that a well planned room can change the comfort levels of the space and it was great to see the desks moved to positions I personally would've been so much more comfortable with. Not necessarily Feng Shui related but there is something to be said about the proportions of the objects added as well. They touched on the rugs being too small, which they were, but the mirrors weren't sized correctly either and felt disconnected with the rest of the interior decorations. I am bummed to hear that Steph worked with a snobby interior decorator, it's such a mixed bag sometimes but I'd encourage her (and anyone looking to hire a designer) to shop around! There are so many wonderful designers out there that would be more then happy to work with their clients!

"If your feeling overwhelmed lay on the circle" got some laughs out of me.
  • @Olieveilo
Ironically I declutter my bedroom last week and I feel like the stress went almost all away. It's nice to be in a new space
  • @juliakelly8405
Quotes from Steph: “I genuinely touch the thinky rock.” “When it comes to this week, I’ve felt more positive about my own behind… ness.”
  • @ 24:39 - I like how one of Matt's socks still made its way onto Stephanie's desk, albeit hidden behind her computer 😂
  • @taradactyl715
Having never seen Ash before I can say their voice 100% matches what they look like and I’m totally here for it.
