A great place to spend New Year's Eve in Cebu City is at the Marco Polo Plaza Hotel. They have one of the best firework displays in Cebu. The views of the fireworks from the hotel are amazing due to the elevation of the hotel, you get these panoramic views over looking Cebu. The higher level floors are just perfect for watching the fireworks. So if you need ideas on what to do in Cebu City for New Years the Marco Polo Plaza is a great place to start. They have a New Year's Eve Gala Dinner, grand ballroom buffet dinner show or a countdown package at the Grand Balcony to celebrate the coming year.
I just watched the fireworks from my 22nd level floor and I thought it was an excellent display of fireworks.
