I was STUNNED to see ShellyAnn's lane empty. It's an unfortunate end to her amazing career, but she knows her body. Shelly-Ann's legendary status remains intact for me!! I hope she heals and spends precious time with her family now❤️

The increase in injuries over the last two years are accumulated wear and tear and a sign age is catching up. It was a pity she had to withdraw but she has nothing to prove... the best female sprinter we have ever seen.

Honesty this dude really loves Shelly. We all do too. ❤

Shelly Ann is simply the most dominant sprinter of all time. I am sad she didn't run one last Olympic finals race but nothing for her to prove She's the G.O.A.T.

Congratulations Julien Alfred. I called it. Peope were sleeping on Alfred. She paid 7-1 odds. After her 200m against Thomas, she displayed great form but just came up short and didn't have the steam to finish in 1st place. It made me think she would have plenty of pace in the 100m. Alfred will medal in the 200m and will be the future double champion imo.

A lot of people think because you can sprint at 70% effort, that you should be able to sprint at 90% effort. Both are worlds different.

The stress and strain on your body must be enormous when competing at highest levels. Respect to the medical people who keep these guys going at that level despite injury.
