My Brother and I discovered this song years ago driving. We were high and flipping threw stations. Once we heard this and the chainsaw we about died laughing!! It was a classic moment.

I was 16 when I got this cassette. Listening on an old Walkman, and proudly belting it loudly, my Dad tapped me on the shoulder and said, "You're giving singing a bad name."😂 Happy Heavenly Father's Day, Daddy

Heard this song on some 80's hair band station while I was working this week. I lost my shit at the chain saw solo. The 80's and early 90's was so much fun, nobody took themselves too seriously. I miss those times.

“I ain’t jacked my lumber baby, since my chain saw you”. Probably one of the greatest lines in rock history. Pure fuckin poetry.

Some friends and I caught Jackyl playing at a club in the early 90's called Riverside Annie's in Cincy a few months before they hit the "big time." When Jessie pulled out the chainsaw for this song, I hollered at my friend and said "there's NO WAY that guy's got a chain on that saw." Three seconds later he commenced to sawing the insulation out of the ceiling. The entire crowd backed up about 5 steps in unison. It was hilarious to witness and they JAMMED. I'll never forget it... Ha!

Its 2024 but i just saw them live for the very first time last week in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and i was right up front! 😁 Its on my YouTube channel although i use a crappy phone so the quality sucks, but I don't care. It shows how awesome they were! 😁 I was with my gf and we were right up front at the stage and we fist bumped jesse James too! Awesome fun show🤘🤘

I remember as a young girl , my dad who loved all rock n roll , told about a guy who used a chainsaw as an instrument, I didn't believe him. And he introduced me to Jackyl. Fond memories with my dad , especially when I hear this jam. Now my father is gone I've appreciated this song alot more. It's nostalgic

When I was 9 and saw this on Headbanger's Ball, I thought it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen!

Nothing sets the mood for a day of cutting trees in the cold like this song. Stihl jamming this song every morning have to do a big takedown.

I saw Jackyl open for Aerosmith at the old Memorial Aud in Buffalo, NY in Dec. of 1994, a week before my 18th birthday.  The first concert I could drive myself to, and cram a bunch of my friends into my '82 Datsun 200sx RWD hatchback.  It was snowing, we took the Skyway anyway.  Slid that rustbucket sideways into the parking deck.  I've seen Aerosmith a dozen times since then, but Jackyl was the most awesome opener...drinking out of Castrol GTX cans, shotgun strapped to the mike stand, and Jesse finished the Lumberjack song by chopping up the bar stool he'd been sitting on.  Five years later I move south and never looked back.  Coincidence?  Yeah, mostly :)
