I think the reason why Messi Win in 2023 Ballondor and why the World Cup Count is because Balloondor 2023 Start in August 2022 and End july 2023 Since World Cup start in November to December 2022 It Count and in that years Messi also win 3 Team Trophy same as Man City But he also have 10 Individual Awards during that Being Top Assister in the World Cup and MVP definitely a achievement

I’m sorry but Messi and Ronaldo definitely deserved it between 2008-2017 period and it’s not even close or up to debate idc about if their teams won trophies or not it’s an individual award and the numbers these two goats were putting up these years were absurd I mean utterly ridiculous and will never probably be replicated at that caliber ever again so I don’t wanna hear other players deserved it during those years now outside of that period I can agree but during those years it’s all them no debate period.
