    He's 110% right about the Ben Simmons rule. Player power is at an all time high. They have it the best they will probably ever have it. Paul George already screwed it up when he signed a max extension then demanded a trade. Now we have Simmons who demands a trade and STILL doesn't play!

    I don't even blame Stephen A. for going off on Ben Simmons. He is the Clown of the NBA, even if it's true he's injured, the publicity he's been getting is why to me he deserves to be questioned and criticized.

    I genuinely agree with this take. I still think players need to be contractually protected and get paid during injury, but Simmons is seemingly exploiting the situation. However, it’s also buyer beware for the Nets 🤷‍♂️. If Simmons wants 20 mill without playing, then he’s gotta take the major ridicule that comes with it and the optics he’s creating (whether he realizes how disingenuous he comes across or not)
