How to Stop Overthinking to Calm Your Mind (and Enjoy Your Life)

Brains think. That's their job and they're darn good at it. But that thinking brain is not who we truly are, it's just the brain. Our true selves listen to those thoughts, and then choose to believe, not believe, or ignore those thoughts.

Th problem arises when those thoughts are negative, repetitive, intrusive, disturbing or destructive. The good news is, we can consciously change our brain. When we infuse our thoughts with presence, with awareness, with intentions and direction, they instantly become grateful and positive. We see solutions instead of problems. And we no longer think nonsense just to fill the peaceful and beautiful space.

In today's YouTube video, I share how we can make that voice a little quieter, a little more pleasing to be with, and a little less like that guy at work who never shuts up.

  • Dear Todd... when I'm listening of you, it's like you're "seating" next to me. The way you're expressing what you want to "communicate" to us, even if english isn't my "mother language" (cause I'm Greek), "takes me by the hand" and "explains" so "easily", so profoundly, what it's "needed" to be understood (by me and for me, inside)... And I felt that by the first time I listened of a first video of you. I could say more about (as for the way you "make me" feel calmer inside while I "hear" you "putting" words in line in a rythme that is so "familiar" to me...) but, for now, I "stay" with what I already expressed... Just know that, I trully love all that you "share" with us and I'm grateful for... Thank you Todd.     I " lost it " because a therapeutic relationship i was in did not work out the way I thought it should have. The amount of anger anxiety and resentment showed me indeed how far I have to go. If this was all my ego it was a really rough ride. Your videos are great. I love all the scenes of nature and the country. Thank you Todd.

    I’m finding btw because I allowed myself to feel what I needed to feel (and what had previously been suppressed to an extent) in addition to healing it through writing, I’m way more able to hear and feel your wisdom offered. The balance of feeling, intuition, healing, and presence is real. I’d say presence is the absolute mind bath we all need.

  • Your video s help me so much dealing with my panic attacks start having them when my dog sudenly died my mom got diagnosed with cancer and start losing my theeth because of parodontitis really like your video s ❤
