  • As a teacher myself not really happy with where my life is going I really enjoy your content. Would like to hear more about how you quit your job.
  • I’ve been on my minimalist journey since 2016, when we moved. I’m also a teacher currently, so I take my summers to declutter and curate my space. We may be moving after two more years, hopefully to our forever home. When that happens, I want nothing stored in the garage! Just two cars! I’m working on that now. :)
  • ❤ I have moved so many times... the money I have wasted on moving and storing... the managing of stuff... I'm 44 and just over it. I'm over delayed decisions and tired of the burden of stuff. Been mildly letting go of stuff for 20 years, but found decluttering in 2019. I love the feeling of purging all the unnecessary items. Best to all of you. It is like an onion, many layers and tears.

I was going through exactly what you went through. Overspending, impulse buying and just collecting more and more stuff. I am currently decluttering everything and thinking about what really makes me happy. Thanks so much for all your great videos ❤
  • Excellent! Was delighted when I seen your new video pop up. Just the tonic I needed. ❤Your content is always so spot on.
  • Minimalist family of five and loving your channel. Even seven years in there is still more information to learn and ideas to simplify further. Keep making great content. =)
  • I have been minimal for about 3 years, I was in maintenance mode, but currently, I fill I could do another HUGE declutter and be even more minimal. So over summer break (I work at a school) my goal is to do huge sweeps through each room again.
  • 💕 I have decluttered a lot out of life, people and things. I have noticed a total reduction in anxiety as well as my depression having lifted. I realized that I make the choice of whom or what I allow into my life.

❤️. Love your content! Your journey sounded so similar to mine (spending and accumulating). I’ve started the decluttering process and now am inspired to stick with it. Thanks!
  • Hi Becky, I understand what you went through with clutter and mess. I can relate because my home was cluttered and unorganized. One day I just started decluttering and donating my stuff. Three and a half years later, I have less stuff. My home is still unorganized and cluttered because my husband refuses to donate or shred any of his papers. I love baskets because it contains my belongings and it keeps things organized. Having things organized helps me to find my stuff or something that I need. Love your videos, thank you for sharing your decluttering journey!! Your videos inspire me to keep decluttering any other stuff and organize. ❣️💕
  • This video was so relatable 🥹 and exactly why I love your content 💜

On-line shopping is just way too easy now adays. My minimizing journey began because my personal life was out of control. So, I decided to begin controlling what I could, which was my home. Now that my life is a bit more in control, I still can't imagine living any other way.
  • ♥ I had my home down to a decent amount but my daughter is moving back home at the end of this week so I'm going to do another round of ruthless decluttering. I already removed and washed 5 loads of bedding and 5 loads of clothing from her apartment and I'm afraid to see how much more there is. We'll have to declutter a ton of her stuff for sure.
  • Another video where I feel like you’re telling my story. You shared such a powerful message. I’ve been getting rid of so much, but I look around and it’s still so overwhelming. I’m just drowning in stuff. Since I first started watching your videos I haven’t bought anything new to bring into the house other than food and necessities though. I’m so proud of that😊 Thank you for the motivation to finally start this journey❤❤❤

I became a “minimalist” as a teenager. We had quite a few family members pass away and I helped go through their belongings. I came home to my own room and realized that if something were to happen to me, someone would have to go through my things in a similar way. I saved everything and had piles of stuff I was going to get to later. Back then I didn’t have the YouTube that we know & use today to look up how to get started with something like that. So, I just started throwing everything out. Then, I organized and labeled what was left in a way that would make sense to anyone that walked through my door. The Bible says to keep your eye simple & your whole body will be bright. It’s been about 18 years since then, and I know that statement to be completely true & reliable 🥰🥰
  • Been decluttering since 2020 and still have to watch what I bring in to my home! Stay strong 💪 🥰🌻❤️

My life is different from what I thought it would be too! But it’s where the Lord has me and I can make the most of it. I love getting to know you.
