    Thank you for this!! Starting Covid, my health anxiety kept on telling me I had cancer, a brain tumor, eye worms, heart failure, diabetes etc and it has been such a burden on my life. I will definitely try these tips!

    I would recommend not seeking reassurance from people around you. I’ve dealt with health anxiety for the last 4 years and seeking reassurance will give you short term relief but will actually reinforce the health anxiety and worrying in the long term. Not only that, the more you seek reassurance, the less that reassured you will feel each time. It’s like tolerance to a drug.

    I've been dealing with anxiety for my whole life from the age of 3 (I'm 13) and it's gotten to the point where I'm crying while typing this. It doesn't stop 😭
  • Sometimes when my health anxiety acts up. My heart starts to beat faster, which then makes me worry even more. I am praying to got that he will help me overcome my anxiety and that he will you overcome yours. ❤

    Thank you so much for this, I've been struggling with health anxiety the past few months and it's very stressful. But exercise is the biggest thing which has helped me :)

    I feel talking about my symptoms make it seem more real then the person who you talk too seems worried that then worries me even more and sends me in to a spiral

    I swear I've thought I had kidney disease, liver disease, prostate problems, ass cancer, mouth cancer, all kinds of crap all in the past year or 2... I'm still dealing with mysterious urinary issues, but every little thing triggers my anxiety.

    I had a near death experience 3 yrs ago. I lost my bff 1 yr ago to AML. EVER since I'm a mess. I'm tired of looking for symptoms or symptoms "finding" me even when I'm not even looking for them. When that happens, my brain assures me it's the "real" thing and not anxiety. My brain thinks it's the "C" word. What's worse, blood work comes back slightly abnormal, so I immediately google it, which, of course it always gives me a list of symptoms and I choose the fatal one. I'm tired of this life I can't deal with this.

    I’ve suffered from this since I was in middle school and I’ve always been stressed and I’ve recently burnt out after sophomore year and I feel like I’m dyin all the time and I get scared thx

    I have constant health anxiety. I exercise a lot and it does help. But I feel almost do it compulsively now as a way to try and feel mentally okay. I have a family and I feel like my health anxiety, cancer fears, and obsessions with death are intruding into me being a father. This video is amazing, please comment on this if anyone has had anything specifically work for them. Thanks!

    Mine is a muscle spasm I get in my left arm , thanks to a nurse I constantly have panic attacks when my arm hurts or goes numb cause the muscle flare up . Spent 5 hours In the ER to be told I’m the picture of health , so now I get woken up by panic . It’s less frequent but still awful 😢

    What I truly find frustrating is I've had good days not that long ago when I wasn't thinking about anxiety and I didn't have any symptoms but then ... all of a sudden I recently got ANOTHER setback which brings me right back to square one But of course I'm not giving up that easily because I've gone days and months without having health anxiety before so I can surely do it all over again! I just have to remind myself to be more consistent this time around though!
