that was the legendary Jack Buck. He did the commentary for the genesis rbi baseball games as well. tengen produced both the rbi series, and the gawd awful relief pitcher.

What I dug about the pac-man one was the actually decent St. Louis backdrop. The arch was a nice touch, let alone the hotel.

Wow, even the video game versions of ballplayers were on steroids in the 90's!  561ft the other way?  That is impressive Raphie!
  • This video reminded me that I didn't play too many baseball games on the SNES. Nonetheless, the Laser Disc ad in Super Bases Load, goofy super deformed cheerleader panty shots in Extra innings, and the Pac-Man on a Rocket from Super Batter-Up all combined to make my day. I certainly hope you'll be tackling another system, or perhaps going for another sport. If you're looking for inspiration, several SNES basketball games had multiple dunk types.

Roger Clemens was my go to SNES baseball game, which was very fun, and addictive. I still play it here and there when I want to kill a quick bit of time for that matter too.

I came here looking for the tecmo one in the name of nostalgia, thanks!

Had no idea there were so many baseball games on the SNES. My faves were Ken Griffey Jr's ( hilarious and fun ) and 2020 Super Baseball ( upgrading and buying players/robots was awesome ).

Well, we don’t have robots playing ball in 2020, but we’re still (hopefully) getting an altered reality version of it.

On August 1, 2005, Palmeiro was suspended for ten days after testing positive for a steroid.

I enjoyed this compilation. Lots of childhood memories here. To this day, Relief Pitcher is probably the worst baseball game ever made.

6:00 one of the first 90s games I’ve seen with a real MLB park. Pretty cool to see Fenway with those graphics. Terrible name for the game tho (Relief Pitcher)
