That is a genius interpretation and modernization of a classic Sinatra song. Which was a big band song. Gigi made it a jazz/rock song with some Ella Fitzgerald - Mel Torme scat at the end. Two contemporaries of Sinatra that he greatly admired. So she brought the song back to Sinatra's time frame when he first recorded it. Ingenious.

I went from Sacramento, California to the moon a thousand times while listening to your rendition of FLY ME TO THE MOON. Whoever arranged the song the way you did it is a genius and if I am not mistaken, I guess it was Sir Jon the great keyboardist! The band was excellent and Gigi your scat was beyond my imagination. The intro sounded like funk and then the surprise came and made me say "WOW" what a great changeover!! You never cease to amaze me. GOD has given you such great talent to share to the world.

As a music connoisseur for decades (I’m 64) this, one of my all time favorite songs, I’m in awe, I salute you with utmost respect for pouring your heart out, making this song your very own. This Jazzy version is unique and the finest I’ve ever heard, musicians are in complete command and in the zone, and Gigi, you are an amazing fantastic singer and artist, your inflection, phrasing and delivery of this particular song touches and elevates the mood. I am almost stunned beyond words! But I have to give my head a shake to find them in order to give props to this performance. As someone who loves all genres of music, including jazz-rock-funk fusion, I have to say that this version and performance of Gigi and the band is truly and simply OUT OF THIS WORLD! Somehow superlatives like "incredible", "amazing" and "excellent" fall short in describing this piece of musical masterpiece and Master Class in vocal performance. The band blasts off propelled with multiple rocket boosters as Gigi steadily and gracefully builds up power. Then she takes us on vocal runs to different musical worlds weaving, twisting, turning, shooting for the highest star then teasing us with some K Z Tandingan-like riffs and scatting that we have only heard from legendary jazz vocalists. With the GG Vibes in strong and full support for the entire journey, she guides us back down gently to earth with power left in the tanks. Though the expedition more than fulfilled its mission, this passenger doesn't want the ride to end. But all good things must come to an end. Truly, that was a thrill ride like no other.
