Maybe it’s side is so dark that it’s eyes have adapted to it. So as soon as he came to the over world he immediately is exposed to light which blinds him permanently and gets angry at the players for letting him into this new dimension. And maybe as it used to be dark in his realm he was sooo used to hearing that he finally uses his gift of hearing to track the player’s down to get revenge. What do you guys think of this theory. Please tell me.
