The reason why the intro is so long is because the singer is actually inhaling enough air for the whole song.
  • the extent of my touhou knowledge basically comes down to "i know it exists"
  • It's strange, this is one of the darkest songs I know of, yet it has an uplifting effect on me.
  • Micro breaths. She is a master. Also one of the most genuinly nicest people i have ever had the honor of meeting. My favorite trivia, is she is a fan of sophia the first and sings along with the songs
  • @XOFrenchyOX
Them: How long can you sing without taking a breath? Christina: Yes.

I'm a Japanese who likes 2D. I don't understand English, but I was impressed with the wonderful cover in many ways. Expressions that appeal to emotions are very good. Thank you for the wonderful artist cover As a Japanese person who tends to be frightened by the people around me, I felt hope and was moved by this wonderful video of a song like this, sung in a way that appeals to the emotions and expresses a life-sized human being. It has become a You Tube video with my precious permanent mylist. (commented using machine translation)

Out of all the cover singers...she's easily my favorite. Her Japanese is flawless, hits all the notes, is that perfect balance of feminine with bits of masculine mixed in. She's like that battle angel screaming and rushing into war!
  • The fact that the person singing is the same person who plays Marinette in Miraculous Ladybug is a bonus in my eyes to this song. She sings it so well and I can literally hear the power in her voice. It's incredible.

That drummer laying down some nasty funk and y’all can’t even give him some screen time?
  • @haniyasu8236
Daily reminder that this is a cover of a remix of a song from an obscure Japanese indie game and yet has almost 17M views.
  • @PadChords
I've heard Japanese lyrics for this for years, but this was the first time I've ever heard it in English. I never looked up a translation either, so I didn't realize the melancholy the song is expressing. It puts a lot of times I've heard it into better contrast. Despite playing host to a lot of fun games, Gensokyo is full of misery.

This is Insane!!! The visuals are just too good! Rock on dude! XD

Hideo Kojima: "She's breathing through her skin."

You ever think about how there are songs out there with lyrics so vague yet so oddly appropriate they can really apply to almost anyone in a meaningful way without ever specifying what the song was ever about? This is definitely one of those. Certain lines jump out at me and resonate far better than they feel like they should.

Madoka fans must agree that this songs definitely fits Christina’s character Homura 😎
  • Let's see... * Popular song from a popular fandom * Collaboration of multiple famous music Youtubers * Matches the original video's art style * Big-time VA (who did the original video's English dub) reprises her vocals for this song * Released after +10 years since the original video, practically making this an anniversary ★ (Touhou) Metal Looks like we've got the perfect video!
