I didnt really appreciate the Krusty krab training episode until i got older

I think the pizza delivery is one of the best as well. I don’t think any other episode explored SpongeBob and squidwards dynamic as well as that one. Those first three seasons of SpongeBob are truly incredible. I genuinely can’t name a bad episode from this era.

My favourite episode of the entire show is probably Reef Blower. It introduces SpongeBob and Squidward. Their relationship. The settings. Everything. And the most shocking part is that it manages to do all of this while the characters don’t even say a single word.

The Chocolate Fish in CWN always kinda scared me as a kid. Looking back I can’t help but wonder if he’s meant to be a G-Rated Addict, kinda like how the first movie portrayed the duo getting hammered on ice cream sundaes.

I think my favourite episode is Wet Painters. It's just got so many good jokes. I always laugh no matter how many times I watch it. Band Geeks is a close second though.

This episode slapped in its heyday. It still does, but there was just something about it when it first came out. to this day, I'm certain you can go into any public place and just randomly yell out, "CHOCOLATE!!!" over and over, and people would know exactly what you're referencing... before kicking you out.

Me and my brother used to laugh at the scene in band geeks where everyone plays loud so people might think they're good and they end up obliterating the glass, and we'd play it back so many times.

I personally consider the Krusty Krab training video to be like an unofficial episode 1 or episode 0 as it establishes (like you said) the primary dynamics of the show's characters. I would also consider band geeks to be a spiritual finale to the series. Overall, im not suprised the top 3 episodes are what they are, as spongebob doesn't get more iconic than those three episodes.
