Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is set 10 months after the events of Spider-Man: Miles Morales. As with previous installments in the series, the game features a large ensemble cast of various characters derived from the history of Spider-Man comics and other media. Yuri Lowenthal and Nadji Jeter reprise their respective roles as protagonists Peter Parker / Spider-Man and Miles Morales / Spider-Man from Spider-Man (2018) and Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Other cast members reprising their roles include Laura Bailey as Mary Jane Watson, Darin De Paul as J. Jonah Jameson, Jacqueline PiƱol as Rio Morales, Griffin Puatu as Ganke Lee, Mark Rolston as Norman Osborn, and Stephen Oyoung as Martin Li / Mister Negative. Harry Osborn, now motion captured and voiced by Graham Phillips after originally being voiced by Scott Porter in Spider-Man, appears in the game in a more prominent role after making brief cameo appearances in both Spider-Man and Miles Morales. Tara Platt reprises her role from Spider-Man as Yuri Watanabe, a disgraced former police captain and ally of Peter Parker, who now assumes the vigilante identity of "Wraith" following the events of the game's downloadable content campaign, The City That Never Sleeps.

A rare boss fight where youāre the boss.

This fight speaks volumes to how ludicrously powerful Kraven is. Dude was exhausted from a near-death battle with black suit Peter, was shocked to hell by Miles, and was also literally dying of terminal cancer the entire time and he still managed to put up a solid fight against an extremely angry Venom. Heās gotta have transcended peak human condition to have pulled this all off.

Notice how the Mission Prompt doesnt say "Defeat Kraven" It says "Hunt Kraven"

The parallel between both Kraven and Harry dying of disease isnt realized enough.

Iāve seen what cancer does to people and lost family due to it. So seeing how Kraven handles being diagnosed makes me respect the hell out of his character. He found out he was dying and said āonly at the hands of my better.ā And his better just so happened to be from out of this world, technically meaning he was Earthās apex predator. Fucking legend.

Kraven is such a monster, the time he says "I want it(death) to be worthy of me." That was the best dialogue from this boss battle

I like how Kraven is a sympathetic villain not in that heās right about a economic or political issue from a certain point of view, but in that anyone could relate to not wanting to die a miserable, slow death lying in a hospital bed.

Wasn't sure if insomniac had the balls to show venom biting someone's head off, big props to them for going through with it

Credit where credit is due, the fact that Kraven lasted this long against a pissed-off Venom is a testament to how strong he really was for a mere human. There are no superpowers, just him, his skills, and his gear. This really was the Hunt to end all Hunts.

I just love how Kraven looks at Venom, so much awe and wonder. It's like how any one of us would look at a tiger in the safety of a zoo, but for Kraven, it's the danger and threat of this beast that makes it so wonderful to him... Just that soft, goofy smile on his face, the way his breaths shorten and he looks so much more energetic than in past scenes... He knows that he is currently staring down Death itself. And he's excited.

I'd never imagined that Venom would be playable.

Respect to Kraven for just being able to endure 5 minutes in a fight with Venom. He never show fear once or willing to give up the entire game while facing many strong individuals, this guy is now my favourite villain in the trilogy with the 2nd favourite being Martin Li.

I like that the fires are surrounding Kraven as he had dreamed about during his last hunt. Gives that dialog his hunters were talking about earlier in the game all the more meaning

I love how this is just a pure villain vs villain fight. Never see that too often, especially with both of them having valid reasons for wanting to fight one another. Great writing here
