After more than a decade of studios trying to build cinematic universe after cinematic universe, one that has actually surprisingly stuck around is the Monsterverse, featuring increasingly insane movies where large things punch other large things.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire definitely raises some questions. Like why does this Trapper guy have the perfect equipment always lying right next to him? Why is there a podcaster and a child on this trip? How detailed were those hierogylphics?

Not going to lie, during the whole glove scene I was thinking "this is definitely going to be the "Super easy, barely an inconvenience " part in the pitch meeting" This movie was wild and I loved every bit of it.

This is the kind of movie where I can imagine the pitch meeting going exactly like this. The idea that some studio execs had to, in detail, explain that one big ape hits other big apes with a smaller big ape to get to the second big lizard is hilarious
