Building My Cosy Solo Hidden Base - DayZ

I am 36 years old. In the evenings I have some time to play games. I downloaded dayz a few days ago and played around a bit. I won't lie, the game was a little difficult for me. I came across this video today and I have to honestly say that I enjoyed every minute I watched it. I subscribed to your channel young man, I will be waiting for your new content. Good luck.

Solo makes you feel like a proper survivor, brutal but the most rewarding. Little plays feel big and finding that item you are looking for is obviously twice as hard so when you get it it's the best. I get lost in the game playing solo.

Solo trick that works on not so experienced players, say with the mic open something like goodbye cruel word and pop a round off. Non-experienced players come to loot and walk into a full auto gun.

I love the map animation that shows where your going as your talking about it. It helps me learn the map so much easier

I only play official solo, mostly because of life pressures restricting when I can play (cannot commit to long sessions). It was nice to see a solo adventure vid, and I liked your chicken coop base. I find as a solo player you need to do much larger and longer flanking moves, which can result in losing your quarry but it keeps you safer in battle. Thanks for the content!!!

Good video again, thank you. These solo runs are interesting, like you said there is a completely different vibe to it when there is no one to watch your back.

I prefer solo. I enjoy the survival aspects, of hunting, fishing, so on. I do also enjoy the pvp, but on my own terms. Sometimes I just like to chill and be a hermit, but sometimes I need action. The typical groups I've played with tend to focus primarily on building massive bases, raiding, and pvp. Nothing against that, but it can get very taxing doing the same routine daily and being go, go, go all the time.

This is probably going to sound stupid (and it is actually quite ridiculous) but I've been playing DayZ on and off for a while now - Solo only - and so often loot up with proper gear and so much food, but then run around scared out of my mind of PvP, as I don't want to loose my stuff. The result is that I'm terrible at PvP and always run around nervous 😂. I have no idea why I've never thought of building a small base (I've never ever built anything 😔) stashing my stuff and going at it much more aggressively. Your video has changed my life 😅. Great video again, thank you. I play mostly solo as there is not so many people I can play with, and as you said it is totally different game and experience, specially when you have no base and loose all you have and start from scratch.

I never watched anyone's but TheRunningMan dayz vids, but i like your style (found you thx to the dayz dev post with your vid mentioned (appartment base with Ralf company)). Really looking forward to watch this series.
