She Hasn't Eaten in 16 Years (No Food, No Water)

This story is crazy. I traveled to a rural village in Ethiopia to track down a woman, named Muluwork, who claims to have not eaten in 16 years. Not a single piece of food or a sip or water. And on top of that, she doesn’t use the bathroom!!! After spending a few days observing her fascinating life and interviewing dozens of her neighbors, friends, and family members - I must admit that her story is pretty convincing.

What do you think about this whole situation? I'd love to hear from you in the comments down below as this mystery is not yet solved.

I’m really curious to get your thoughts on Muluwork’s condition! I was not convinced until I spent 2 days with her, interviewed everyone that I could find in her village, and heard about her doctor visits in Dubai. And I must say, there’s no real evidence against her claim - maybe she is indeed a superwoman?! Please share your thoughts in the comments below and let’s get this discussion going!
  • I love my Ethiopian 🇪🇹 Brothers and Sisters! They are very kind and good people in America! 🇺🇸

I think the language barrier mixed up the meaning of her saying she wants to be famous... she doesn't want fame for the usual reasons, she wants her story to be known to give glory to God.

She is not the only one. It's a spiritual condition, exceedingly rare, but not unheard of at all. She's a very special soul. Human minds and science are limited, ignorant and arrogant. Thank you for bringing awareness to this very real phenomena.

I've noticed a lots of people calling her liar but that's human nature. Anytime we come across anything beyond our basic logic and scientific explanations, we tend to disprove them but it shouldn't always be like that.

There is a man from India .... same story.... but for decades he didn't eat .... took him to a hospital ... think in Germany .... kept him under observation for a long time until they gave up and said they cannot explain. We need to accept somethings are beyond our understanding or imagination.

The 16 year dry fast isn't even the biggest mystery. How did she conceive and give birth to a healthy child? That's what I can't get past

Whether she is being truthful about this or not ...... she seems like a very gentle & kind soul. I wish her and her daughter & her community much happiness and love. ♥💜💛 Thanks for treating this young lady with respect and kindness Drew
  • "they tested for a week" i've not eaten for 3 weeks once, but i did had water. So, I'm annoyed by the lack of journalism.
  • I have heard her story on EBS years ago and she said growing up she was struggling a lot in life and sometimes being starved is one of them and one day she asked God for a food because she was hungry but God on the other side make the starvation go away and she never had to eat from then.

I fasted for over 14 days and I felt guilty about stopping. I could easily have gone for longer. Food tasted weird for a few days and my sense of taste and smell accentuated. My recommendation is to begin small - even for just one meal and gradually increase. It may take a year but you will get there. And if you fail you try again and don't look back.

I lived off water and apple juice for 3 months. I have cancer. My total taste for food was gone even though I wanted it. When I would try to eat I would vomit it back up even juice and milk. Hard time for me. I believe her. With God nothing is impossible.

I believe that we are so much more than our physical bodies. It is like she is being fed beyond "physical food". It really is beautiful 💜💜💜 She is very generous to let people enter her private space, and to share.

People who base all their belief in science want to disqualify this woman. Not everything is to be understood with the logical mind. The earth and life is not that shallow. This is spiritual and you can tell the woman is in tuned.
  • @Lisa-lt1ex
I am Eritrean. I have seen it twice in my life. The problem is, that people are trying to explain it scientifically instead of spiritually. What i saw in the past, in a village , was true story . So this could also be true .
  • @judeandeh
I am not calling her a liar but this is medically impossible.
  • @preciousz2852
It’s a shame how the second guy kept trying to discredit the side concerning her faith. Why go there if you don’t believe or you’re trying to find a lie? Especially with how hospitable she is and you continue to act that way
