Complete ride-through of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train roller coaster at Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom!

EDIT! Note - this video was filmed earlier in the day and with a mostly empty train. We rode again later that night with full trains and the ride actually went FASTER and swung MORE! It was AWESOME!

The ride was a lot of fun! Remember, the "coaster" is in-between Barnstormer and Big Thunder, so don't expect big "thrills." The swinging is a lot of fun and the dark ride sections are great! It's going to be a family hit! Review and photos posted here: Our complete trip report from the media event has been posted here: www.themeparkreview.com/parks/photo.php?pageid=116…

I rode this a few weeks ago at night. It goes SO much faster than it does in the video, I promise. It swings so well, & I was so surprised at how smooth it was!! LOVED IT!

It's so impressive how far animatronics have come. It's interesting seeing how smooth and fluid they are

What about an Aladdin "Cave of Wonders" ride featuring aladdins escape from the cave on Carpet? It would make an awesome roller coaster + I love Aladdin

I love how its 2019 and this ride still has a 200+ minute wait its crazy. Update: it’s now March 2022 ride times sore over 120 a day. During 2020 Covid reopening the ride times were anywhere between 25-45 minutes. 2021 was around 70 minutes. This comment was made before I started working at Disney :)

Let's keep in mind that this ride is for children. It is not supposed to be intense. It is supposed to be a fun little ride that families can go on. It is not like Mount Everest or Rockin Roller Coaster, those rides are more for the "older" kid or adult age groups.

It's clearly made so that small kids will be able to ride without a lot of vomit. Nice high-standard Disney animatronics as almost always. There are a few moments that add some small thrills, but this is not an air-time ride, but a family-friendly ride that Grandma can also ride without breaking a hip. Just enough 'thrills' so that the very young can brag about riding it.
  • Whenever people are on the ride they always sing along in the mine :3 I love it

"REAL POV" Oh I thought this was just a fake POV, thanks for clarifying that.
  • @snarkus63
That definitely excels over the old Snow White's Scary Adventures ride.

It's shorter than I expected. I mean it looks like a good little coaster for the kids to enjoy if they're too scared for one of the bigger "Mountain" rides, but still I can't help but feel like it's lacking one or two more animatronic set-pieces, or SOMETHING. Then again, can't judge it until I ride it lol
  • I rode this at night when I was there and it was AMAZING. I highly suggest waiting to ride it until it's dark because it makes it 10x more fun 😊
  • Underwhelming, but I still loved it. It wasn't thrilling, the cars didn't sway while I was on it, and the ride was SOOOOOOOOOOOO short. They could've done a lot more with 7DMT, but it looks like it was done on a tight budget (minus the amazing animatronics). I loved it though and it's a must-do, but it's not all it could (or should) be.

Shorter than I expected. Still came out really well.

this is an amazing ride! SO much faster in real life, still amazing though and it is probably the smoothest rollar coaster ive been on
  • @wendyandmanny
The witch caught me by surprise. This ride seems to be a unique mixture of dark house and a tamer version of big thunder. Thanks for the upload!
  • @bennettwaisbren
This looks like a perfect addition to the park!! Almost makes you wonder why they didn't think of a 7 dwarves attraction sooner.
  • @JFrombaugh
I thought 2:41-2:53 was a Revenge of the Mummy-style fake ending until I realized that it was a back seat POV. LOL
  • That part where the seven dwarfs all say "hi hoo" and you go down the big hill is PURE DISNEY MAGIC ! Especially for the first time riding the ride
  • Damn.... first time I saw an on-ride POV video of this, I was completely astounded by Disney's animatronic work. I never expected anything like this!
