Power Rangers Preservation Project | Power Rangers Careers in TV & Film — Director Armand Garibidian

Published 2024-06-22
The #PowerRangersPreservationProject Presents Power Rangers: Careers in TV & Film — The Director!

Today’s featured crew is Director Armand Garibidian, seen here on the set of his first episode — The Wild West Rangers two-parter. He directed six episodes of MMPR in total, including Passing the Lantern, Wizard for a Day, Fourth Down and Long, and Final Face-Off.

In this clip, Armand is seen working alongside Prop Master Mark Richardson in a Monster Room just off the Command Center stage, with some behind-the-scenes footage from shooting inside the Command Center and raw footage from Wild West Rangers as Armand discusses the director’s process on the show. We also see some raw clips of Kimberly, the Rangers, and Bulk and Skull in 1880 Angel Grove!

Armand and Mark are surrounded by a number of iconic props and costumes including suits for Serpentera, Tor the Shuttlezord in Warrior Mode, Red Dragon Thunderzord in Warrior Mode, Vampirus, Squatt, and Power Rangers exclusive monsters Turkey Jerk and Grumble the Elf, along with the Power Cannon.

I love seeing these rare behind the scenes clips! I'm pretty new to Power Rangers but I have been enjoying making my way through them over the past couple of years, and as a big film and tv nerd I'm always sad when there isn't a lot of behind the scenes content available, so I;m so glad I found this channel! It's like a time machine getting to be a fly on the wall for some of the filming. Thank you for putting these up!!!
