I just realized that the reason that the bolter has a draw animation of a full sized Buick Sedan is that it's supposed to be used on a Veteran as a long range tool. Makes sense, but that's definitely more of a reason to not run it on a Zealot.

I used to play a lot of bolt vet at launch, it was one of the best weapon. I think it suffered a lot from the disappearing of the instant reload ability after the skill tree rework, I hope one day it will come back

The thing I appreciate about the Bolter, if your teammates can manage to be at least someone intelligent in their gameplay, then you can almost single-handedly the only range support needed the whole game

Invisible Ogryns, how can we possibly lose this war now?

The bolter still feels like it's unnecessarily clunky. Everything takes too long to do on it and without a 75+ roll on stability it's like fighting a bucking horse to get on target while firing.
