[Furnace] For the arrow, you can use an item frame and place a stair on it, then rotate it towards the direction you want. It will look like an arrow >

I first saw sand smelt to sandstone and I thought, 'Wow, they removed glass?' I went into Minecraft and watch the video and see the problem: Sand smelts into a stone version :)

For the furnace, you could use quartz for the 3x3, and then place a backwards upside down stair to still open the chest

for the funace, you could just use chests instead of item frames. Then just make it hook up to a super-smelter with the output leading to the output chest and actually make it functional, instead of just having it output sandstone all the time.

You could name the new island “Mass-isle”, because, well, the first things in that island are incredibly large. This was pretty impressive, nice job!
