Today we are getting an early access look and ride of the @Ride1Up Revv 1. I am going to go over all of the specs while riding it. I will talk about my opinion on if it's going to take the crown from super 73 and Ariel rider for the best emoped when it comes to price, performance and power!

  • @60-ish.
these little things are basically the final form of the "mobylette" a type of bycicle scooter from the 1950's and 60's. much love for these.

Thanks for an excellent review. I recently bought a Revv1 and am overall very happy with my purchase. Do have a few comments regarding customer support. Let me start by saying that I very much like this bike. Small problems can be very frustrating and detract from overall enjoyment. 1. Chain keeps coming off the tensioner sprocket. Told that the chain was too short from factory and sending me a longer one. Seems unlikely that this will fix the misalignment. 2. Throttle has too much play before engaging motor. Support said this was normal and can not be adjusted. 3. Owners Manual does not include suspension adjustment info. Also incorrect procedure to turn on lights. 4. Speed indicated on the display shows 5 mph fast. 5. When discussing these issues with support, they repeatedly asked for more and more photos and videos to be sent them. No offer to have someone locally assist with the repair and or adjustments. Also no return phone call. This is not a cheap bike and customer service should be much better.
  • I would go ahead and order the second battery now. Put it right on the controller box and tie it in. Hopefully it all has XT 60 connections for easy fast set up.

Happy you talked about the differences in versions, most youtubers did not, thank you!

Definitely looking into this bike. Last rode a Honda PCX 150 scooter which got totally totalled when a lady pulled in front of me and I did a long slide under the back of her SUV.
  • Did you have to go into advanced settings to get it up to those speeds? I'm comparing this to the less expensive Tomofree x YYG BR100 as my next bike purchase, so the BR100 has a 1200w motor, please help me get the faster of the two.

What's the best locks to use with this? I'm getting the storage cage with mine and with it on there's not a lot of space to put a lock through

Looks great and great bang for your buck. Impressed
  • Hi Mike, nice review, how tall are you and what is your inseam? Thx
  • I've been researching moped style e-bikes for over a year now. The Arial rider grizzly was going to be my purchase until I found the revv1 just today. How about a video on real world mileage distance on a full charge. The grizzly has two 1,000w hub motors with two batteries for only 1,000$ more. I am now very conflicted.

Mike, great video, thanks for the review. You did a Ariel x class 52v review also, which one do you like better from a quality standpoint? These 2 bikes are the same price now. My fear is the weight, this bike is like 20lbs heavier than the Ariel, where is all that weight? I love the way this bike looks, but from a pure performance and build quality standpoint, which do you prefer? I’m going to order one of these this week, your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Also, the Ariel has more power on paper, doesn’t it?
  • Super 73 needs to answer with something else other than new custom colors. Plus, their prices are high. This eMoped is nice and great overview!

@Mike fed. Hi I just wanna ask whether u already unlocked the off road mode which is why making u go 38mph? Because isn't this bike go only 20mph on full throttle?
  • Very nice, from the beginning it looks awesome.... At the end of the video, I agree w/ you that it's a contender because it has lights and turn signals (horn?) and the weight capability to have a trailer. Not bad at all... I like it. πŸ˜πŸ‘
