I will always and forever appreciate artists who upload instrumentals of their tracks.

theres something so good about this beat... music didn't give me this feeling in like a decade
  • The rim roll that plays every 2-4 seconds is hard af 🔥🔥

That "beeb melody" that comes back in at 1:28 makes the song sooo smooth 🤝🏼
  • Late night drive and this song comes through 😮‍💨
  • 0:01 The melody switch up is crazy. Intro melody turns into "beep" melody with "metrooo" yelling...this gives me a chill.

Best instrumental of the album in my opinion. I think Honorable C.N.O.T.E did the most in this one. Thank you guys for producing such a great beat!!
Edit: The drums, bass and first keys looks like from Metro and at 0:32 looks like Honorable C.N.O.T.E's keys, but yeah, they did a good job right there.

Insane instrumental. Best mixing quality I’ve ever heard.

Metro Boomin is one of the greatest ever

Metro is such an artist brining so much soul to hip hop production. Lately it’s been easy and simple because of sample kits and everyone doing the same things over again

As a producer myself, I listened to this every single day multiple times for multiple weeks when it first came out and I could never get over it. It's right up there as one of my top 10 favourite beats of all-time. Here is my personal breakdown of why this beat is so good and addictive: 1) The main melody (0:11) is haunting and suspenseful, while the second melody (0:32) creates a sense of unease and anticipation, as if it's taking us to the next step of the journey. It makes us think something is about to change, or the tension is about to be resolved, but it never does so it keeps us hooked. 2) The 808 cowbell roll creates some tension, while also adding a sense of momentum and excitement to build anticipation for a drop, but because nothing happens it keeps you bopping your head to the beat in a hypnotising way almost. 3) The main bass has that growl element, but it is tucked super well within the mix that the average person doesn't notice it, and many may mistake it for the kick (e.g. 1:22), but it adds a solid punch when you're listening to a system with a nice bass. 4) The synth bass adds another element to the beat that makes the stereo image feel 'fuller' 5) The background FX sounds (1:05) adds depth and texture to create a sense of space and dimension while also amplifying the suspense and atmosphere. 6) The reverb on the snare every 2nd bar just adds variety. Overall, this beat is super well mixed, so shoutout to the mixing engineers for gluing this masterpiece together!

Those synths going crazy. Noticed that Metro fucked with synths more on this album
