I lost a friend to suicide, she was my best friend. I woke up one day to her calling me, I picked up of course, she was crying more than I’ve ever heard her cry, I immediately drove to her house before she could even finish what she wanted to say, (we had replicas of each other’s keys since we were such good friends) I let myself in, and broke down her room door. I saw her hung body. It was the most terrifying experience of my life, from that day I kept telling myself it was my fault, if only I had seen this sooner, I could’ve helped her, loved her, I should’ve known, the signs were all there, why didn’t I see them? She hated social gatherings, she couldn’t get out of be in the morning, and she was ALWAYS tying knots. I still have her number and text her on it, saying good morning, good night, pretty much using it as a diary, I know this won’t bring her back, and it’s only going to make me more sad, but it’s my only way of coping, I hope she sees those in some way… I didn’t even get to tell her I had a crush on her. Some part of me thinks that if I let her finish, I could’ve talked it out with her. Made things right. Help her love herself. Anyway, thanks for listening, I just needed to vent for a little, even if it was years ago…

I think what really made this real to me was the scene where Sofi’s boyfriend is on his knee holding her hand telling her how much he loves her. Yet, she looks so sad and even with the person who loves her the most down on his knees, she’s still stuck in that haze that depression puts you in. This really shows how terrible depression is and how it’s a process to work through it. It takes tremendous amounts of support and time to become stable again.

Oh god. It's been a year and i still come back to this. I'll always love this specific gcmv, for how it was made, the song, the animation and everything.

This actually made me cry. A year ago I lost my best friend Jessie over suicide. I found her body hanging and I will never get the memory of her dead body out of my head. I miss her so much. We were best friends ever since birth and this video reminds me of how I felt. I really do wish I could move on but I can't. Let this be a reminder to cherish the times you have with family, friends or your lovers.

I really can related to this, after my mom died i had all sorts of memories, i remember staring at her when she couldnt move or speak, the closest thing to talking for her was nodding her head and saying mhm. I cried my heart out.
