"I can prove to all of us that 90% of our sons are not in the top 10%". That's quite a statement lol
  • Smashes my head in, this statement knowing that i am in the 90% that is dying a slow death........
  • Being in the top 10% in looks will afford you an INFINITELY higher quality of life than a top 10% income.

This thinking is very true in some industries or fields. In professional sports, you don't see many kids of former players whereas in other fields (medicine, finance, land developers), that isn't the case.

Yes, America used to be all about turning the 90% into the 10% which then becomes the new 90% which then inspires to be the new 10%. Sport on, Scott.

As long as people have the freedom to choose what occupation they want to pursue and whether to pursue a 2 parent household, there will always be imbalances. I live in a wealthy area with good school districts. Guess what, people from India outnumber white people especially in the nearby neighborhoods with $1M homes. I live in the older neighborhood with a lot of white people and less expensive homes. We have the roughly the same opportunity but they choose to work harder in school, become doctors and raise their children differently.

Gow to get attention: be a good and strong man. Improve yourself. Be physically fit. Be honest. Hold yourself and those around you to higher standards. The speakers message is belittling/poison.
