I remember David as a very young teen. He would sing in church. I loved the way that he seemed to care that this old lady loved his singing. Very humble, extremely talented. I still love to hear you sing, David, and it is 20 years later and I am really an old woman. God bless you, keep singing, you are a gift to all of us.

I know David Archuleta is not in our faith anymore BUT I had a big impression the other day while listening to one of his songs that HE is still the SAME HUMAN and THE SAME child of God. We don’t know what’s in the future but for now let’s show love and respect each other.

I listen to this prayer every day, many times more than once. I was familiar with David because of his success on Idol but had never even heard the name Nathan Pacheco. I am now one of Nathan's most avid fans. He is truly an exceptional man who is blessed with a talent that is rarely heard. I am so very thankful for discovering this wonderful man. Singing with David enhances the beauty of The Prayer . God has blessed both singers and certainly blessed me with the opportunity to listen to them.

I know this song was created, at least in part, as the collaborative and collective genius of David Foster, Andrea Bocelli, and the phenomenal Celine Dion; but this rendition, in both its apparent arranged simplicity (2 voices, a piano, and the cello) is absolute perfection. I cannot take anything away from the original but this version also calms the turbulence in my soul and massages my warrior heart. It is brilliant!

My husband was in hospice for 22 months. I played this version since he always requested to listen to The Prayer. I hope it brought him comfort. He passed away 4 days ago.

Hands down the BEST performance of this song I have ever seen. David, you have come so very far from those early days of Idol. You truly have an unearthly gift. You bring peace to the soul and you bring joy to every one who hears you. You are a one in a generation artist and I pray you never abandon your very special calling.

I love how they made that last note so light and delicate instead of blasting it like other singers. Really makes you remember that this is a prayer, not some diva belt song
