Remember people, you can be superman in life. Even the smallest rights can make you a hero. Help the homeless, speak out against bullies, report DV, any and all small actions make you a hero

Homelander: "I suffered! Why shouldn't they!?" Superman: "I suffered, but i will do everything to make sure they don't."

In an era that’s focused on anti-heroes and villains, it’s so refreshing to be reminded that someone like Superman is simply a really good dude that just wants to do the right thing and save others. It’s really inspiring!

I lost my mother to domestic violence, I had to witness it all and the police officers did nothing to save her the countless times she called them. Ever since I’ve pledged my life ever since to making sure no kid ever has to go through losing their mother by trying my hardest to be a police officer or any other role in protecting the lives of people. She also used to sing me this, and countless many other David Bowie songs so it’s just perfect. She was, and still is a beautiful mother, sister, daughter, aunt, grandmother, granddaughter, cousin. And I hope to meet her up in the stars one day.

growing up is realizing superman is not just a basic superhero, he is a HERO.

"If I had Superman's powers, i'd be Homelander 🤓" Me if I had Superman's powers (no one helped me when I needed it, that's why i'll help others):

superman is not basic, he's based.

I think one of the most interesting points about Superman I’ve heard was during a conversation about superheroes with some of my friends, where someone brought up that Superman stories are less about how he’ll beat the villain, and more about how he’ll save everybody from them. Somehow I feel that angle hasn’t been quite as heavily explored with other heroes quite as much.
  • Me: Who are you, Batman? Batman: I am vengeance. I am the night. Me: Who are you, Superman? Superman: A friend.

"superman solos fiction" mfs after realizing the super isn't because of his powers, but because of his unending and unconditional love for humanity and earth as a whole:

Normalize spreading kindness and joy for no rhyme or reason, simply to make people smile and inspire others to do the same. Whether it's sitting with a homeless man and hearing his story, or helping a preoccupied mother set up a car seat while she cares for her child. A simple act can improve anyone's day if you're willing to take that opportunity :D
  • "I'm going to work hard to make sure everyone feels the pain I went through" villain mindset vs "I'm going to work hard to make sure no one has to feel the pain I went through" hero mindset Stay strong, Supermen.

When you are a child and that you don't truly understand the character... This music is here to remind us why he was THE hero in the past.
  • I lost my uncle three weeks ago to Stage IV Kidney Cancer (May 2nd, 2024) and whenever I listen to this I think of him. I’ve only recently discovered this version of “Starman” and it’s by far my favorite. To be honest, he’s my Superman because he was one of the few people in my extended family to make an effort for me despite living half-way across the world (Ukraine) and being an uncle through marriage. Plain and simple, he is my hero and I strive to be the selfless man that he was. Rest Peacefully Uncle Sergey Светлая Память Дядя Сергей Edit: Today (June 10th, 2024) marks 40 days since his death, which is big deal Orthodox Christianity (the faith of my uncle). According to Orthodox tradition, today is that day that his soul finally departs the world, and enters Heaven. So today is big day of remembrance and prayer for me. I still miss him dearly, but in my belief, I know he is in a better place. P.S. I want to thank all of you in the comments for your condolences. They really do mean a lot to me ❤️

At this point in life I remembered it’s better to be remembered as a good person rather than a bad person.

I am tired of half-heros and anti-villains, all the nonsense deconstructions. I need someone to save me.
