0:00 Intro
0:05 This truck was originally just in for window tint. "He wanted tint, then after the tint job was done said we messed up their suspension and cut the tires and wanted us to pay for an alignment suspension work and tires.
0:25 This car was not brought in for suspension work but the technician did noticed that the oil pan and other parts were scraped up as there's no coil springs in the front and back.
0:40 Whippled supercharged. The shop said he ordered a RPM-built T56.
0:54 From what I can see online there is a recall for certain years (Altimas and Maximas if they are in the "salt states") and some have a warranty extension for this issue but this car was past the timeframe.
1:08 The shop replaced the lower control arms and re-installed the coil springs.
1:22 No extra info...
1:38 All of the nuts, corn, etc were cleaned out of the intake, air filter box and the air filter was replaced and it fixed the customer's concern. Rodents (Usually mice, rats or squirrels) like to store food like this to hide it away for themselves.
1:51 Would you diagnose the vibration issue if the customer supplied 4 pages of notes? The shop did not diagnose it for free.
2:03 The customer just installed a new power steering rack and tie rod ends.
2:22 "2020 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid Customer states, knocking noise coming from the engine. found several holes and cracks in the engine block and oil pump sitting at the bottom of the pan. It hydrolocked as the air filter was soaking wet but because it's a hybrid, it uses the hybrid drive motor to start the engine which is a lot stronger than a normal starter motor. The car still drives."
2:39 No extra info.
2:47 An adapter besides some wood shims underneath the trailer hitch would work a lot better!
2:51 No extra info.
3:11 This clip was sent in by a viewer who noticed this car driving on the highway without a tire and just the wheel scraping against the road.
3:17 Outro. Thanks for watch

Would you diagnose a vibration issue if the customer gave you 4 pages of notes? Have a great weekend and submit your clips/photos on our website at www.justrolledinyt.com/

"Do not fuck up my car." Too late, you already did. That was DISGUSTING in there.
  • how do you actually know it was an animal that left those nuts in there??? it could've been "the other shop" or " the customers buddy, neighbor, son, etc....... that worked on the car."

I must say, I think this episode of JRI was the most brutal of all time. A shyster trying to scam a tint shop for wrecking his already wrecked truck, someone could have had springs replaced under warranty but decided to buy springs and attempt it themselves, and someone driving down the highway with no wheel. That 10+ year vibration and four pages of notes: I would be charging eight hours to diagnose that!

I love it when customers blame me for things wrong with their car. Back in high school I was the manager of a car wash and a customer said the car wash ripped a hole in the door of her Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Looked like someone had taken a chainsaw to it because the hole was at least one inch tall and 6-8 inches long. She gave us a 1 star review after I showed her the security camera footage of her entering our property with the door already damaged before going through the wash. It makes for a funny story, though unfortunately google won't take the review down.

1:45 "Verified complaint, found engine running poorly, performed pinpoint test, removed all of deez nutz from the intake, verified proper operation"

2:22 Customer forgot to mention that the "couple miles" they drove was through a lake
  • "Don't worry I will continue my 5000 mile trip around the US because my car is in good condition and the shop only wants to rip me off!!" 😂😂
  • @kwyorman
And these idiots are on the road with your wife and kids. I used to complain about vehicle inspections. Not after seeing this crap.
  • @Oneshot8242
Could it be that people see an action movie and think, "I should try that?" without knowing that there are MULTIPLE vehicles involved with filming, sometimes being wrecked, just for ONE SCENE?
  • @DatMageDoe
Customers like the first one are why many shops refuse to work on cars with a litany of issues/"fixes" from the owner.
  • @czarekaj1098
The squirrel has to be really pissed off that someone dared to clean her stash of nuts and corn.
  • @aquilinefpv2592
Ending clip is just a guy heading to get a quote at his local car repair shop. He will later decline any service and drive away like that.

You dont need an OBD scanner when you've got four pages of "Old Bloke Diagnostics"
