Troy was way beyond it's time. The fighting, the blood, the acting. All of that's better than most modern movies.

Hector was such a sympathetic character. You can't help but root for him as the underdog.
  • Achilles massacring like 20+ guys so take the temple by himself is arguably one of the best scenes in a historical movie.
  • @Createsaur
been five years since the release of pt1, man, pt2 must be legendary
  • @83abhinavnigam
Hector vs Achilles is probably the best choreographed fight scene i have ever watched
  • @henrylarkin8397
You know considering he’s fighting a literal demigod Hector is doing pretty damn well

0:03 "imagine a king who fights his own battles, wouldn't that be a sight." Leonidas has entered the chat
  • @brysuagar6520
Hector's death was sad to be honest, Him and Maximus and Leonidas died like warriors
  • All the fighting scenes in Troy were absolutely spectacular. Achilles balance, reflex, technique and strength Gaddamit - what a warrior
  • Brad Pits was in top form in Troy, some of the finest sword work ive ever seen in a movie!!!!! Amazing choreography!!!
  • @corpsebanger
The Patriot is STILL one of my top favorites... the scene hit so hard, you're following the rush, and feel that righteous vengeance full-throttle until the very end when you start to feel the loss and anguish. Brilliant.

"Imagine a King who fights his own battles. Wouldn't that be a sight?" Brad Pitt really fit into this role in the movie like a fish to water.
  • @SamFisher007
so basically half of the scenes are from Troy and the rest of it are two scenes from Gladiator and one from the Patriot. What a great diverse selection of movies.

Fun Fact: the stuntman who doubles Brad Pitt as Achilles in this movie,is David Leitch. You may know him as one of the creators of the John Wick franchise,he also directed "Atomic Blonde" and "Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw". The fight choreography is made by him and his John Wick co-director Chad Stahelski. Both have also worked on "300" and many other famous movies, like The Matrix trilogy,BvS, V For Vendetta,Ninja Asassin etc. etc.

ive watch the achilles vs hector scene hundreds of times, whoever was in charge of the the choreography really did a good fcking job and needs to do more like this.

'Father to a murdered son. Husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my revenge in this life or the next' - Maximus The most courageous lines..💪💪💪
  • @ScotsLyon
Hector knew he couldn't but still went Thats why he is remembered

4:53 is so good. He knows his armor and uses it to his advantage. Never seen that in a movie before. Blocking with his shin armor is a pretty amazing attention to detail. It doesn't just cut his leg off.
  • “Imagine a king that fights his own battles, wouldn’t that be a sight.” In your face king.
