This also happens when you get Keratin done newly and use a keratin shampoo, how your hair weighs down and gathers dirt in just 2 days.
  • I use tresemme's keratin smooth shampoo and conditioner and its amazing and makes my hair feel SOO soft and healthy!

I just bought pureology shampoo and conditioner hydrate kind and omg wow it was 76$ but it's the best I have ever used and it's like a miracle in a bottle !!! I have thick long hair to my butt almost and i finger combed my hair !!!!! No extra products used that has never happened even with my detangle spray and the other 9 products I use . I'm blown away and hoping prinw day has it on sale
  • I love the pureology shampoo! I shampoo twice usually- I pair that with a shampoo that’s slightly more clarifying but doesn’t have sulfates (my hair hates sulfates it seems) like the Briogeo charcoal shampoo. Hair feels wonderful!

Just a couple months ago I switched shampoos because the one I was using wasn’t working. I saw a lot of people recommending Hask’s aragan oil shampoo saying it was of the better drug store products, but it made my hair look even worse then before. I’ve been trying to fix my hair for so long, trying to follow all the right hair care tips. But the more I’ve been trying, the more my hair has become oily at the scalp, dry at the ends with breakage, and has even started thinning. I also deal with some severe dandruff which makes this even harder for me. Now I finally know that it’s my shampoo that’s the problem!

I have to agree with you. The only problem with me is I have tried the Hydrate Sheer two separate buys and returns. Here is my take. It really cleans the scalp and I can go two days without oily scalp/ but it leaves me staticky and after a short time I lost tons of hair. So I have to X that one out. The Olaplex Number 4 made me a greasy mess. Again I bought it two separate times. I adored the way it felt nourishing and lathered but if you have fine hair - it’s way too heavy. I don’t even want to talk about the Ouai Detox. HOLY CRAP. It was after using that damn shampoo one time- it ruined my scalp and I cannot get it back to normal since. The ACV I’m convinced. Never again. Ouai products are sub par.

  • Can we talk about how pretty she looks in that pic??? She looks like a model
  • @lisaadams8004
Also washing it too much will make your glands produce more sebum making it greasy faster.
  • I just looked up professional shampoo and its so out of my budget range 😭😭 are there any drugstore shampoo that is decent? Like much better than the others?

As a stylist of about like a decade, I can share with you you, that you're not supposed to use strong hair shampoo on your hair. I have observed hairlines of many folks, and I spotted that individuals who were using harsh shampoos generally had weak hairline. So I suggest only to use gentle shampoo only. I myself use and recommend to use litttleextra cocconioon shampoo only. Also, do hot oil massage twice a week as it improves circulation and promotes hair.

I used to use Shea butter shampoo and I would get idk what you call it like the dry skin on my head. Later I actually started to care Abt my hair and I used aloe shampoo and it was gone
  • @NoriJeon
no wonder why my hair was very oily after 1-2 days after my hair wash day. when I was using the Baths and Body works Shea butter shampoo my hair got very oily, but it reduced (its almost gone) since I started using a shampoo that includes green tea!
