You can make the vast majority of your videos using only three Mac apps: iMovie, Keynote, and QuickTime Player. These apps are free and come bundled with every Mac (at least at the time of making this video). You can use these apps to create all types of videos - from news & information to learning and reaction videos. It just takes a little ingenuity, and watching the videos on my channel, of course. 😉

    I made weekly films for an Outdoor Education company in California for fifteen years, using nothing more than a canon camcorder, and iMovie. The film industry is ridiculously over-inflated.

    I 100% totally agree with you that these three apps are all you need to produce high quality professional looking videos for posting on social media. There really is no reason to burden yourself with trying to learn Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premier. Unless you are planning to produce independent films or commercials for high end clients. And thanks to your simple and clear tutorials I am loving it.
  • iMovie is all I use for editing as it's all I know how to use. The M1 iMac's webcam is my camera. Very simple videos this way.
