Seeing the title ''bracing a rock'' and then sees the length of the video.. No one else on this platform can make bracing a rock video over an hour long and still make it interesting.
  • All rocks should come with plated i-beams straight from the factory, that way they dont go bad in 3 million years.

Everyone: "Wow, that's some serious overkill!" Camarata: Makes a second brace

As a structural engineer, from now on I'll be using a new safety factor in my calculations. It's marked with a Greek letter "Andrew".
  • @apdhoudini
Think of the effort it takes to do all this work by yourself. Then imagine you are at the same time thinking of what camera angle works for the shot and then prior to actually doing the work you set up the camera. Andrew, you sir are a wizard!

In the couple years I have been watching Andrew's videos. I understood he set his goals high. So "Holding back a mountain" seems to be business as usual...

When I first saw the title "Bracing a rock", I thought "What's so wonderful about bracing a rock?" Little did I know. Andrew, I hugely enjoyed how you deployed tools and machines. I am impressed.
  • I just love how the formwork is smoking the entire time and Andrew just keeps on pouring casually.
  • The lack of fear the puppy has leads me to believe that when it grows up that you will have a problem explaining to him that he can not drive the equipment, great video as always

I nominate Andrew for Secretary of the Department of Getting Stuff Done.

Another job well done! Did not know that a "chain saw" could cut through rock! Looked it up and discovered it cost $2200. Wow! Anyway, the right equipment and the knowledge of how to use them means a job well done! Glad an engineer was involved!

Not many people bother having all of their work lab inspected and approved, let alone two independent labs

Two additional suggestions 1. Remove the tree that grows at the top - the roots will enlarge every crack in the rock. 2. Add a horizontal beam between the supports - if the supports tilt sideways, the concrete at the bottom will simply tear.

Having the concrete form burn while he's pouring concrete is the most Andrew thing ever lol
  • @MrGtsouth
That opening shot from the drone closing in on Andrew’s lair instantly tells us that this video is going to be something special, that Andrew is about to roll out the full panoply of his talents. He does not disappoint!

The puppy is so inquisitive...just like a child. Good company for Levi...and he likes to help his Dad with his building projects. Andrew, you are so loving and gentle with him. As a fellow animal and dog lover, they are part of the family. Every project, you impress me more and more. As for your naysayers, they can bite me. They wish they had your abilities.

Never has there been a man with so much domain over his environment.
  • @spudatbattleaxe
I will never not be amazed by the amount of tools Andrew has. Anything I can think of and many things I havent thought of he just casually pulls out on his projects. Like that water cooled saw? I’ve never seen a rock cutting saw like that. Yet if anyone has it, Andrew does haha
