The last one made me cry :( why you even consider get rid off your cat? He has been living with you so many years. He only got you, you are his world. Please, don't abandon your pets, people.

Great advice on that last one. I can understand if a person is allergic to cats but to just outright despise them is definitely a red flag 🚩 not just no but HELL NO. People that hate animals tend to be sociopaths.

About the bi thing, your sexuality is no ones business. She could definitely just keep that to herself.

In my own opinion and due to my own experiences, I feel like that 21 year old dating that 17 year old deserves the red flag marching band. Especially learning the previous relationship he had ended badly, how this guy is the first guy she's been with, and how quickly they're deciding to get married. To me it sounds like he's taking advantage of her inexperience with dating.. Just sounded really off. Hope she's okay. :(

I've been with 10+ people. My spouse has only been with me. Past partners are irrelevant. Our sex life has nothing to do with the past except for what's between us. Also, when you are together long enough to get married, the sex gets better over time, so spouse will continue to be the best I've ever had because we take more and more time to improve our performance and he's the only one getting a chance to hit it. (It's not relevant, but I'm a woman and spouse is a man.)

My ex did stuff with men. Didnt tell me til way after. After I asked him a lot if he had. So the fact he lied then I caught him watching gay porn. Idc if hes bi. Just felt betrayed he hid it from me and not living his real self. So idk if I could trust him because he lied to me not that he did the acts. :( People need to be their true self before dating. Always. Don't add people in the mix if you don't know what you want.

I agree with Alex and Kelsey about the cat situation. When I first started dating my bf I told him I was allergic to cats and dogs and although I love animals and have a dog and two cats of my own, they live in the garage and I can't have animals in the house! When he told me he actually has a dog that can't be put outside I backpedalled because I really liked him and said I can just take an antihistamine 😂 the only thing that kinda has to be done now is the dog isn't allowed in the bedroom when we're sleeping cos I find it hard to breathe lol, he has to be washed more often, he's not allowed on the couch where I'd be sitting and he can't be sitting right beside me if he's scratching or cleaning himself, which he does a lot 😂. That doesn't mean I ever kick him or mistreat him, he actually gets excited when I come in now and if my bf ever mistreated his own dog, never mind a random person's dog or cat, I would consider that a major red flag. I fully believe you can tell a lot about a person based on how they treat other animals. My brother used to 'hate' cats but he never mistreated or kicked them and when he met his now fiancé, he didn't dream of asking for her childhood cat to be got rid of! The only scenario I could see a valid reason for getting rid of the cat is if someone (I'm more thinking your own child here if you had one) in your household had a severe allergy and through no fault of their own would need the cat to be adopted. If this guy you're dating had any compassion at all he'd understand how much that cat means to you!
