  • I'm drunk. I'm 48. I haven't listened to this in 20 years. I know every word of every song. I love it. LOVE IT!

My brother Greg is the bass player. They did a bunch of stuff after this. But I also had not listened to it for years and it still sounds great

One of the best rock albums ever made. My neighbors probably think so too.
  • I don't care what anyone else says, one of the nicest, tastiest guitar albums ever produced!  Well Done  Jake E. Lee

Damn, I'm 59 and I can still remember purchasing this cassette tape. Real ROCK back in the day.
  • @MyMechagodzilla
You know how good an album is?: When you sing along to every song 30 years later. Which is what I'm doing right now.

Three O'clock in the afternoon in Thailand! Blasting this Album!

Badlands was like a turbo charged high octane Led Zeppelin. Jake is a true master and will always be underrated. His parts are so good yet so intricate. His leads are always dancing on the edge.

My 20 year old dumb ass owned this album in 1989 and didn't have the sense to give it a chance, it quickly fell through the cracks as I was getting very into thrash bands like metallica and anthrax. Here I am in April of 2023 sitting at my desk in my home office with this album open on a tab as my background work music. In hindsight I can really appreciate that at the peak of bubblegum hair metal these guys had the balls and integrity to dig down deep into their roots and release a bluesy 70's infused masterpiece while most bands were selling their soul for a quick buck. Respect.

One of the best vocalists ever. Mr. Ray Gillen.
  • @metaljew4456
This is simply one of the BEST albums ever made. Badlands are the best kept secret in music. To bad Ray Gillian passed away. Jake E. Lee just shreds like nobody’s business.
  • Jake E. Lee a fucking guitar wizard, one of my favorite albums from this era.
