In today's video I talk about Minecraft and Terraria. I compare both of these games to each other. However, keep in mind that I love both of these games. I have played them for a huge portion of my life, If you guys liked the video please subscribe and leave a like. It'll really help me out on YouTube and the algorithm.

This style of video and some of the edits are heavily inspired by ‪@TheActMan‬, huge inspiration for my channel. Thank you to him and please enjoy :)

whilst minecraft takes the point for creativity, i hate the lack of objects able to be crafted. In terraria if you bring any item to the guide chances are you can build tens of blocks and furniture, and there are thousands of items and blocks in terraria, the diversity is more on terraria's side

Don't forget the mods. Mods are one of the most useful parts of keeping a game alive. For Minecraft, you have to got to a website, download the mod, and move the files around in your computer until it works. For Terraria, it has a bundled-in mod loader that lets you easily search up, download, and enable/disable whatever mods you can find. Not to mention the content. While Minecraft can be spiced up with the use of mods, Terraria can be taken above and beyond the original game with mods like Calamity and Thorium that add so many new items, enemies, bosses, and biomes.

8:28 the biggest feature of terraria is the world spread, it makes the woprld feel alive and changing being able to turn it off would ruin it, unless its the creative journey mode.

You forgot the most importand comparison. "The Developer Team" and how they are with their communities and game
  • @Terrandrei
The evil biome spread is def a huge part of the game though

I remember being baised towards minecraft because it was the only game i truly enjoyed. But i remember my cousin downloading terraria for me and i said "isnt that 2d minecraft without diamonds?" The first time i played it, it truly felt like a challenge. I was frustrated but slowly fell in love with it.I realized my mistake for calling it 2d minecraft. Now its my favorite game of all time and you cannot change my mind.

One is made by loving devs who listen to the community while the other is made by a sellout and a dev team that doesn't want to listen to their community

Both are masterpieces. Terraria has, in my oppinion, perfect progression, you dont feel bored at any time during the game. While minecraft has that near infinite replayability that keeps the game relevant forever

Don’t forget the devs. Relogic has a forum for terraria where we can interact with the devs. they also implement a shit ton of stuff each update. where as minecraft makes us choose between 3 useless mobs that only serve one purpose. Terraria devs make more in one day than what mojang makes in months.

i think they are not comparable from an objective standpoint. as someone who has grown up with both of them, i have more hours in Minecraft. but i personally like terraria more

damn a minecraft and terraria comparison video that didn't make me mad in anyway
  • @humoskey6292
I don't understand this "which is better" thing with games anymore because at the end of the day it is all just up to peoples opinions i guess.
