Bob you seem like a really great person. You remind me of my own father. I am aware that I dont really know you but my impression of you is that you are a loving father and just a thoughtful guy.
  • @donwiitala3601
What teamwork in changing the oil pan. And the ingenuity of fixing that old mower...this is how great farming works.

We have a saying in South Africa in Afrikaans, "n Boer Maak 'N Plan" , translated to "a Farmer Makes A Plan", meaning, there is no obstacle that cant be overcome by a farmer and they will always come up with a solution to any problem with the bare minimum of resources. Well done Welker's, love watching you do your thing.
  • @SpongieG
So nice seeing things fixed rather than replacing it. Shows that you truly care about what you do and how you do it. Awesome job Welker’s.
  • I love that you all get involved and work together to get the job done. A father and his two boys working together to get what needs to be done for the betterment of the family and farm. I certainly miss living on the family farm working with my grandparents so much. Your dad must be so proud of his boys. God bless your family 🙌

Bob reminds me of my grandfather who was also named Bob. He was a farmer as well in central Montana. I spent so much time learning in the shop and on the farm how to fabricate or fix everything. Miss him dearly. Really enjoy the videos. Makes me miss home.
  • @Jacked97Ram
Love ya Bob, what a joy seeing you and your boys all work together. A true blessing. Keep it witty and stay gritty 🇺🇸
  • @Adam_Poirier
Bob's still not afraid to get out in the shop and get it done. He is the true definition of a Montana Prairie farmer with years and years of skills under his belt. What a cool guy, nice job Bob👍
  • @galensteria4790
I love the fabrication instead of always having a new piece of equipment showing up on the farm.... awesome content....
  • @farm3067
I really like the dates being added to the clips in the video. We're 600 miles north east of you and cool to see the difference in crop staging.
  • @mathbrown9099
Guys, working together all in one place is of great comfort and happiness to me. Thank you for the vid. God bless your farm and family. Amen.
  • @leokuettle1623
Appreciate you putting the date in the video. It helps to know when you are doing different things around the farm.
  • @greendeere777

  • @keithholland
The mower deck fabrication and repair was especially interesting.

Good thing that it was a relatively easy fix, years ago I had a little 4x4 SUV with the same problem, we repowered it from its original 1.8litre gasoline engine to a Nissan RD20 2litre diesel engine, it was a really tight fit one corner of the oil sump touched a frame cross member, I got the sump modified at an engineering shop and it looked fine when we installed it there seemed to be plenty of room, but it turned out that we didn't modify it quite enough and the sump touched and rubbed on the cross member when driving in certain off-road condition's, it wore or cracked a tiny little hole in the oil sump. Such a pain the engine had to be almost completely taken out to get the sump off and out.
  • @Varrig
It would probably take longer to warm up the engine than it would take to mow my lawn with that monster. Great video! Take care and God bless!

Thanks for another great video Welkers. It was interesting and informative and entertaining. Sorry about the oil pan on your new/used motor fitting into the new/used truck chassis. But sounds like turning the oil pan around fixed the problem. Happy for you all that will fix the situation. Redoing a motor and truck usually causes adjustments here and there I guess. Nice work Scott and Nick!!!!! Hang in there. Bob your mutant mower is quite the setup. You did a fantastic job of re-doing the deck of the mower to put it back to work. Nice job of cutting and measuring and welding the new top piece of the mower deck. Looks like it is back in service again. All of the Welker family have fantastic abilities at engineering and making equipment pieces from scratch. Some of the best work I have ever seen. My compliments to all of you. !!!!!!!!! Your crops are looking great. This is the year for good crops!!!!! Blessings to all of you. The Iowa farm boy. Steve
  • Thanks DAD & SONS on the WELKER FARMS and GOD BLESS Y'ALL ❣ 👍 Old F-4 II Shoe🇺🇸
