I'm glad you made this video. There is way too much Christian dating content with oversimplified advice like "if you have any doubts, he's not the one", "when it's right it's easy ", "in christian relationship you will know early if someone is for you" etc. It was giving me a lot of anxiety when I started dating my boyfriend and we had some issues. It's important to know that godly relationships also can include struggles, even early on and it doesn't mean they are doomed to fail.

Yalls story gave me so much hope😢Romantic relationships have so much more to do with mental health than we realize. And mental health is connected to our relationship with God ourselves and others❤

My husband and I had a break up the first year we were together, and we have now been together for 15 years, married for 9 with 3 beautiful children and I have no doubt that God put us together!! ❤❤❤ we are imperfect people and God uses our stories no matter the mess!

As Isaac said..."He was putting us through the ringer!" I love that because when you are going "through the ringer" you usually do become closer to God. If you don't He will keep working on you which is a good thing. I think you both understand each other so much and realize you still have things to work on. What a wonderful relationship you have and I will be in prayer for you. Oh and happy Fourth of July too!🙏♥🤍💙

Amazing story. Y’all are a good couple. God has His hand on this relationship and may He continue to bless it thoroughly and abundantly in Jesus name, amen.

Lord, I pray that you would give me the strength to be the best mother I can be for my children. I know that being a single parent is not always easy, but with your help, I am confident that I can do it. I also ask for your help in providing for my sons emotionally, and physically so that they may always know that they are loved. Lord I struggle every month to provide for my sons. Give me strength. Thank you Heavenly father for your grace and loving tender care, and for always being there for me and my children.❤️

i love how you guys are so real- that you openly share the very real part of having a relationship and the highs and lows. i love how Taylor just lets Isaac to speak and listens intently- it shows that they have put a lot of thaught and work and prayer into communication in a relationship. i feel like a lot of christians including me, have this expectation that in the christian community everything is supposed to be perfect, but i love that you go through the real struggles of kindling a relationship. thank you for sharing, this helps a lot

What an episode🥺 I recently just broke up with my boyfriend who I was about to be engaged to, but we had some serious struggles and felt the Lord telling me to leave. Thank you for talking about the difficult parts of a relationship and not shying away from sharing the real hard stuff, puts words to it💗💗

So encouraging. I love this 🙏🏾🩷
-
Thank you for sharing your story! It really helps to hear the less talked about parts of a relationship—the struggles and conflicts and OCD. Thank you!

This was so good. More conversations like this are needed.

This was such a great podcast/video! Thank you both so much for sharing y’all’s story and for being transparent about the struggles in your relationship. I find y’all’s story and current relationship to be very encouraging. Being a woman in this current era, I particularly find Isaac’s character and faith as a man and the way he actively pursued both God and you throughout you two’s relationship to be most encouraging. Knowing that there are indeed men like him with a Godly character and love for the Lord still in this world gives me hope. I’ve met several men in the past that I was potentially interested in dating who claimed to be Christians but then never demonstrated it in their actions, personal interests or in the company they kept. Additionally, I greatly admired how you both realized how much you two needed to keep God at the center of y’all’s relationship and are actively implementing daily practices to do just that. I further admire that you both also realized that you each need to make a conscious effort to remember that neither one of you can ever fulfill that roll for the other. That is so true and so easy to loose sight of when you’re caught up in a relationship. Thank you both! I have so much respect for you two! I’m so excited to see future content on y’all’s wedding planning and life together in general!
