In tonight's explore we visit this Beautiful abandoned Mansion set amongst the Countryside of England.

This Mansion was once split up in to two £5M houses and owned by a wealthy business owner who unfortunately declared bankruptcy.

Sat amongst some of the most wealthy people in the UK, this house became a target for vandals and unfortunately has had original windows smashed!

Join me and Pompeye as we explore this Stunning Vacant property.

  • Loved everything about that place except for the vandalism. Breaks my heart the people just don’t respect what isn’t theirs - the, ‘if I can’t have these things, no one will’. Disgusts me. But you guys did us proud yet again. Thanks Alex. So much appreciated! X
  • What a beautiful mansion house this must have been. It is sad to see a property like this abandoned. It’s terrible how it has been vandalised by people who have no respect for properties which don’t belong to them. I would like to see this mansion being saved, before it is too late. A great explore guys, thanks for that.
  • Absolutely incredible!! I just don't understand how anyone could just leave all those beautiful things behind for so many years. The vandalism was heartbreaking and completely senseless 😢 I hope someone claims that beautiful house soon before it is completely destroyed.

Such a beautiful house...it's criminal not to have someone live there ..even if it were a hotel etc. The work in these old houses..the detail and craftsmanship we don't have today.
  • @gail727
I don't understand how anyone can leave these beautiful buildings to rot.great video xx

This place is incredible, I loved the brick on the outside and all the glass. I bet this place was awesome when people lived in it. The sad part is I just don’t understand why people have to damage things.

I can imagine that was a beautiful home many years ago, what a shame it’s been vandalised, I can never understand why people feel the need to destroy things it’s such a shame, that could still be a beautiful home it always saddens me to see places like this just going to waste x
  • @jimmime

I'd love to know the history of this place and why it came to be abandoned??

I cannot remember the location but many years ago I was touring the UK and came to a river where there were all types of luxury river boats tied up, some were really old and classically beautiful. The caretaker told me that wealthy people often bought them, used them a few times and then just forgot about them. I wish I could remember where it was, I would like to return.

Wow, amazing house, I think the chimneys are Tudor! These owners were seriously rich. How baffling to just leave valuable cars and antiques behind, it doesn’t make sense…..
  • @gaynor3976
Bet it looked really grand once in all its splendour. It had some lovely big rooms and good features. Enjoyed that thanks Alex and Ed xx

It was so fun watching you explore this amazing place, and you were both so respectful. I think it would make a great hotel 🎉
  • @zigwil153
I'd like to know the story behind how a home like this just gets left to nature to reclaim.
  • I am a Bricklayer in Australia, great workmanship on that house. Would have cost a fortune. Amazing Vid guys.
  • @davidfranklin1885
What is the complete, true backstory on this home? Family history, records of ownership etc? This info would make this a much better vid and story. Thank You
