Bro the amount of people that said the same thing about Shooting Star, that it’s SOTY... forreal, this comeback was INSANE. They are so succesful and well received, I just hope this song gets sent to America, it would smash. I hope more reactions ( dance practices, video performances on their channel, chyper, etc ) come soon! Seriously, they are regarded as some of the best, if not THE BEST girl group performers at the moment, they are just INCREDIBLE, this is a group of dancers, I can’t wait to see your reactions.

I can totally see “Shooting Star” being used in TikTok videos, this upcoming graduation season because of the lyrics. This song is definitely a cute, catchy “We’ve made it!” anthem for people.

In Japan, so I discovered them on debut day as a Youtube ad. I was waiting for my 5-second skip and they said Ta-ta-ta-ta, and my soul melted. I will never get over Tippy Toes and I will always stan XG. I can not really pick a proper bias when every body is a double or triple threat. But I gotta give Cocona (the one who stabs the bento and has the jewelled bball) flowers for her swag. I swear she rolls like she grew up "all my life I had to fight" in a ghetto somewhere. What I love about the Shooting Star visual is that it highlights a bunch of Japanese contributions to international pop culture... Mario, Sailor Moon, Hello Kitty... so it feels nostalgic both here in Japan and in the West. That was brilliant. Left Right is my jam. I am an 80s child, so this sort of R & B was big right when I started clubbing. Also, Juria and Chisa just ATE on this track. Not a crumb left in sight.

my f**king DAUGHTERS!!!! yuhh, get into it lmao. jurin, the leader, is the one who initially caught your attention (like you said), her bone structure (face) is chiseled by the GODS, chisa, to me, resembles gowon from loona if you really look at her, hinata has the lightest hair usually, harvey looks like camila cabello/looks hispanic, juria honestly reminds me of chuu (bubbly, naturally cute) but that’s my baby regardless 🥹 maya resembles rosé in certain angles, and cocona is the baby (just to help you familiarize yourself with their faces). the entire group is the dance line tbh, chisa, juria, and hinata are the vocal line, and jurin, harvey, maya, and cocona are the rap line.

As a 86 liner, I spent my teenager years listening to a lot of old school r'n'b and ngl this hit home... Both Shooting Star and Left Right made me feel so nostalgic of these years... Def seeing a lot of TLC on this but u can also feel the Aaliyah influence in it and even on a later era some Ciara :D As for the rappers, listening to their cipher will make you understand their influences. So yeah, I'm sooooo here for them, 2023 better be their year or I'll riot !!! xD

XG are actually insane dancers. I was HYPNOTIZED by their Tippy Toes choreography and I'm literally a Dancer. Absolutely insane.
