Forget about the hair and let’s talk that turn and smile! Honey, you be serving! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽I love watching your hair videos. It really helps me learn. I haven’t pressed my hair yet but I wrote these steps down. When I was relaxed I only wrapped my hair at night but the varying of flexirods, pin curls and wraps gives the hair a different look daily.
  • Girl you tried, but that humidity was not playing! Looks more like a blowout than a press, but still pretty anyway.
  • Omg love your videos I legit just got a silk press and have the same hair type. I’m definitely trying the Bantu knots
  • Thank you for sharing the information from your stylist! I have not straighten my hair in years and have been using very heavy butters and creams on my hair. I am also starting to realize that the hair products that I’ve been using for my natural curls may be too heavy for my hair or even in my curly style. I will be trying the Bantu knot that looked amazing thank you so much for sharing!

Thank you for this video. My daughter just got her 1st silk press, and I have no clue how to care for it. I love the style witht the bantu knots. 👌🏾🔥
  • Just wow! You better work that blow out for 2 weeks! 🔥 It was the Bantu knots for me 😍

My girl isn't playing around with the protection!!!!

Hair seeking moisture from the air! That about sums it up. I cannot seem to keep my hair hydrated enough after blowdrying just enough to dry the roots for the hair to not be thirsty. No matter how much moisture I add when washing, moisturizing, sealing, styling, it just winds up too dry not to puff up at any hint of moisture in the air.

We have the same hair, it’s kinda annoying how the day after a silk press my hair wants to puff up immediately 😅😵‍💫. I’m thinking about heat training to see if that helps
  • @andreataylor4503
Sorry but i have a question cant touching up with a flat iron cause heat damage because i have natural hair and i straightened my hair for the 1st time in 6 years idk if you've heard of this straightener but i have a eva nyc healthy heat straightener to help with how much direct heat is applied to my hair the iron doesn't really straighten my hair like bone straight like a regular iron wound because of the kind of the kind of iron it is i love my natural hair i just want to switch up style from time to time but my roots are puffy plus i usually have to go over my hair 2- 3 times for it to get straight because the iron doesn't get super hot like other straighteners i guess that's the point of the healthy heat🤷🏾‍♀️ any other alternatives your help is much appreciated please & thank you 😊🩷

How often do you needs to oil your hair everyday? And also what type of oil do you recommend to use?
  • My roots stay straight but my end puff up almost immediately that’s what gets me most annoyed
  • @Chi_di
your hair never really seemed to get straight at any point. I don't think your stylist did what they were supposed to do
