He is a true gem of a basketball player and human being and as a someone who watched the great defense of Dennis Johnson, Bird’s favorite teammate, Jrue maintains the great Celtics tradition. We are blessed he’s in Boston!

As a Boston fan I always respected what Jrue has done on both ends of the court, but now that he is on my team I’ve seen the person that he is and I’m truly amazed. Absolute class and genuinely a great person. Glad to have a person of his character in a team I’m rooting for.🙏 Nothing but love in Boston for him.

Jrue is just such a genuinely awesome dude - it was so hard to see him leave Milwaukee the city loved him and appreciated everything he and his wife were doing for the community. Honestly feel like we could've ran it back, like man it was tough moment when I saw that trade.
