(6/25/24) Severe thunderstorm with TORNADO and 60-70 MPH winds and pea-nickel size hail w/sirens!
Published 2024-07-03
On the early evening of June 25th, a severe supercell thunderstorm hit my area with at least 60 MPH winds and pea-nickel size hail along with a TORNADO! This tornado was very close to my area and I saw it from my balcony. It had dissipated before it hit my town but this was the first ever tornado I’ve seen in person especially this close to my house. This tornado was confirmed as a short lived EF0 tornado that hit the towns of Ely and Sutliff, Iowa. I did end up going downstairs for the tornado but came back up when the other part of the storm had hit with the winds and hail. Nevertheless this was still one of most interesting storms I’ve ever filmed. Recorded June 25, 2024.
