I studied for Cambriadge's IGCSEs, and in WW1 History they portray W. Wilson as everything he thought he was: neutral, a peacemaker, and basically a God. I thought of him very positively until I discovered your channel. Cool to see another, more critical, point of view. Cheers Chris!

Fun fact:Bulgaria had a bigger army than the US did until 1917 when the US joined the war. Edit: Chris also many American volunteers fought in the Canadian army in fact I think 20-40% of the Canadian armed forces were American volunteers

Would you ever consider making a video about the Lusitania? my grand father for sometime before his passing owned the rights to the wreck and we have been working on submitting all his records and documents of the lusitania to historical museums and societies but it's been a long process. I don't know if anyone outside my family would find it interesting at all but I think it's one of those crazy historical moments that no one seems to know about.

Fun fact about Theodore Roosevelt and his negotiations for the resolution of the russo-Japanese war: he was given a full set of samurai armor from the Japanese, and you can find it in the museum of military vehicles in Wyoming,(if I recall correctly) the museum is a completely private collection, and has among its collection the rifle that fired the first shot at the battle of bunker hill in the revolutionary war.

I have never heard of the Black Tom Island explosion before I watched this. Why wasn’t this ever brought up before now? Wow. Thanks so much Chris!
