  • {Lyrics^^} {Verse 1} Everyone has to get older Even Jenny, she's just nineteen, young and naive She wants to find a way to be endless Fight the science, and defiance, and be timeless {Chorus} Silly little girl who tried to live forever, to live forever Gave away her soul to buy a bit of pleasure, oh the bitter pleasure Wicked little boy who tried to steal her treasure, for the bitter pleasure Now they're cursed forever, cursed together And if you could see, the look in her eyes The wolf wore the sheep, as the perfect disguise And she can't believe, that she fell for his lies He promised forever, but she never knew the price. ×3 {Verse 2} And as she got a little bit older Look at Jenny, now she's ninety, still looks nineteen And all she knows to do is surviving Stay aliving Now she's crying, cause she's not dying {Chorus} Silly little girl who tried to live forever, to live forever Gave away her soul to buy a bit of pleasure, oh the bitter pleasure Wicked little boy who tried to steal her treasure, for the bitter pleasure Now they're cursed forever, cursed together And if you could see, the look in her eyes The wolf wore the sheep, as the perfect disguise And she can't believe, that she fell for his lies He promised forever, but she never knew the price. ×3 {Bridge} And if you could see, the look in her eyes The wolf wore the sheep, as the perfect disguise And she can't believe, that she fell for his lies He promised forever, but she never knew the price. ×3 {End}

    This has to be one of the most powerful songs that Alec has ever released...

    I often think of this song and it’s interpretations. The saddest one I’ve come up with is that Jenny wanted to live forever, as in immortalized her youth... and by the lyrics speaking about pleasure and betrayal, I feel like it might be an intimate video/sextape and then... Jenny grew older but... that video is not dying, it still plagues her, like the man who played her and her heart for pleasure while she was in it for the feelings; just an interpretation of the lyrics.
