Benjamin Netanyahu lands in US as Israel launches fresh Khan Younis assault

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has arrived in the United States to make a much-anticipated speech to a joint sitting of the US Congress.

In Gaza the death toll rose, after Israel launched a new military campaign in Khan Younis. Close to half a million people were ordered to leave, at least 70 were killed, while dozens more were injured.
