Hi Matt, avocados are high in fat, resulting in your stomach having a harder time in emptying itself. Tomatoes are acidic and if paired with onions, which they themselves can cause heartburn, can be a cause as well. Bananas change their pH levels as they ripen. I have a feeling you are easily prone to acid reflux and you should probably take smaller bites. Not a doctor, but I took some biology and nutrition courses in college.

Matt, being totally serious here. You might have Eosinophilic Esophagitis or EoE. Pretty "newish" esophagus disease that is really hard to diagnose. Random foods for each person can be triggers. Mine for example are lemon juice, cookies (something in them idk yet), and caffeinated sodas. I've met someone else whose triggers are beef, egg yolk, sunflower seeds, and tons more. But it's the same symptoms you're mentioning, super crazy chest pain that lasts for 30 or more minutes. Mine also radiates to my back. It's the lower esophagus that's the pain. It's not deadly or anything, just super annoying and you just gotta learn what foods are triggers and avoid them.
