This is great because there's no drunk dude at the back yelling for them to play Creep
-
it's truly incredible what this 15 year old bassist is capable of
-
I know we're all here because we're Radiohead fans, but Tom Skinner is killing it.
-
I love how chill and non star-struck the host is. She's acknowledges Tom Skinner first and then is like "oh, and welcome Thom and Jonny"
-
One of the greatest guitarists and lemon players in the world has decided he will now be one of the best string bassists in the world too.
-
Please give your audio engineers an extra portion. That was fantastic.
-
"Guess you guys aren't ready for this yet.....but your kids are going to love it."
-
It’s so amazing that Johnny and Thom are still together making art all these years later. One of the best working relationships in the history of music.
-
Absolutely incredible how these guys are still pushing music forward this late in their careers. They stayed curious; never got comfortable. Respect
-
It's like the three of them reached the level of perfection in their fields... What a privilege to watch them play like that
-
Johnny Greenwood’s playing on Thin Thing is mind blowing
-
When a band gets to perform on KEXP, they know they made it in the business. When KEXP gets The Smile to perform on their show, KEXP knows they made it in the business.
-
Sometimes you have to sit back ,listen and remember music can be this good.
-
Is it just me, or is it really trippy to see Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood on KEXP? I've always associated it with up and coming indie artists, and maybe a few mainstream artists. But seeing these 2 on here is like the gods coming down to the mortal realm for shits and giggles. Also, KEXP as usual knocked it out of the park with the audio engineering. The mix was impeccable.
-
We really need to appreciate how good thoms voice still is with his age and how much he's performed.
-
3:23 Thom Giving the cue to Jonny to record his voice with pedals so it can be played as background vocals a few minutes later, all while playing bass with a bow. And they can do this live with a big audience. Just mind blowing to watch… (the 4 recordings can be seen in 4 colors on Jonny’s pc)
-
I love how they did not interrupt the set. No interview, no banter, just let the masters have their stage.
-
The Smile on KEXP???????? Crown achievement guys, having Radiohead-ish in your studio is a once in a lifetime experience!! And an amazing treat for us fans!!

I know the drummer vaguely, his son goes to the same nursery as mine. His wife recently said to me "Tom's working in America and we're going too", and I'm just stood there thinking "Ah so you're going on tour with fucking Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood, cool cool cool. I hate you" :)
