When God had gracefully delivered the Jews from oppression and bondage under the hands of the PROSPEROUS Egyptians, He demanded that the Jews continue to trust Him. They had struggled to continue to trust the Lord in spite of His great signs and wonders. Their lack of faith kept creating problems that would hinder or delay their entry into the land that God had PROMISED them. They were extremely fearful because of their lack of faith in the sovereign God of the universe. Their ungodly fear had caused them to consider returning to Egypt because they felt that they would not die there, due to the country’s great prosperity. A word for the wise, if YOU are hoping and praying to enter into the promised land, (heaven) YOU WILL have to live by FAITH and not prosperity. The Jews believed that they would be safe and secure if they had left the wilderness and returned to Egypt because they would be able to SEE how they would survive in Egypt. As they traveled to the promised land, God did NOT allow them to SEE how they would survive in the wilderness, because FAITH in Him was REQUIRED to enter into the land that was promised to them...not sight. 📖 2 Corinthians 5:7 📖 For we LIVE by FAITH, not by sight 📖 Romans 1:17 📖 For in it the righteousness of God is REVEALED from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous (saved Christians ) SHALL LIVE by FAITH.” 📖 Hebrews 10:38 📖 But My righteous one SHALL LIVE by FAITH, and IF he shrinks back, My soul has NO pleasure in him.” Faith or Prosperity?
