Oldies But Goodies

In coming from E.L.A. Boyle Height. In starting my recovery in Hollywood I cruised down Whittier BLVD, Rodeo Drive And PCH I proudly. And eagerly blasted this music . These Oldies made me feel so comfortable and loved where I went. Today because of listening to this heart provoked music I was ready for unconditional love. I’m a 60’’s Baby Boomer who never forgotmy roots in music. These classic Oddies But Goodies Legendary Cultural Iconic music. The music never got old. They are still very Fresh.

❤❤I am 70 yrs. Young. Love these songs. Brings back lots of good memories, I can still remember where and with whom. Married to my love for close to 50 years, we can laugh and remember how things were back then. Life was good but not easy , but we made through together. Too bad they don’t make music like this anymore, at least you know what they are saying and it has meaning. Some songs out today are Great, don’t get me wrong, I love music of all kinds. Just don’t care for the ones that sound like the person who is singing had the “mike” in their mouth, or are drunk or high! Keep the Oldies going on n on! ❤❤😊

I just want to say WOW! These were my days, OLD SCHOOL! ESCUELA VIEJA! I partied my ass off back in the days of 60's and 70's. The Baby Dolls were hoppin, the Vatos were choppin, at least I was, it' was firme! True belly rubbin music, slow dance that tuff ol' two step dance, slow and smooth, ohh it was the best! Back in Monte, but the Baby Dolls took me all over the SG valley.

OMG!!! These oldies take me back to steppin'/cruisin' down Mission St in S.F. We used to sneak on BART & get off on 24th & Mission....Wow!!! The badest Low Riders I have ever seen in my life, the amazing car clubs, the finest dudes, guys using the epic cholo whistle as girls walked by, flirting without saying a word!!! Stopping at La Ta Quiera on 25th/Mission to grab the best burritos in town. We graduated to cruisin' my Dad's 75' Impala & we blasted them oldies. I'm so grateful to have grown up in a timeless, genuinely respectful era when music like these jams everyone knew from young & old. Thank You for taking me back....Blessings

I can understand what you mean, because iam from Boyle height myself theses songs take me way back to when I was a youngster because I'm 73 years young.to tell you the truth. They will never get old because they stay in our hearts. Que no.q
